Logging in #
Welcome to ARGUSintelligence! To start using the platform, please follow these steps:
- Check your inbox: you should have received an account activation email from ARGUSintelligence.
- Go to the login page: visit ai.argusdatainsights.com in your web browser.
- Choose your sign-in method:
- Microsoft Work: click the Microsoft icon to use your Microsoft Work credentials.
- Google Work: click the Google icon to use your Google Work credentials
- Email: enter the email address and password associated with your ARGUSintelligence account.
If you have forgotten your password, simply click “Forgot your password?” to reset it.
Platform Overview #
When working in ARGUSintelligence, you will find a horizontal bar at the top of the page, which we refer to as the header bar. This is always visible and contains important functions for quick navigation. On the left is the main navigation, which gives you access to the core areas of the platform, which we call modules. Together, the header bar and main navigation enable the efficient use of ARGUSintelligence.
Elements of the header bar and main navigation
Let’s take a detailed look at the individual elements of the header bar and main navigation:
Header Bar
- ARGUSintelligence logo: on the far left of the header bar is the ARGUSintelligence logo. You can click this at any time to return to the homepage.
- Global search: in the centre of the header bar, you will find a search field. This global search allows you to search the entire platform for specific content, regardless of which area you are currently in.
- Events: to the right of the global search is the Events icon. This enables you to quickly view upcoming mailings and schedule new ones
- Notification bell: to the right of Events icon is the bell icon. This serves as a notification centre, informing you of new messages, mentions or activities that are relevant to you.
- Settings: to the right of the bell, you will find the Settings icon, which you can use to manage your preferences.
- Initials (JD): on the far right, you will see your initials (in the screenshot: JD). Clicking the initials opens a dropdown menu that enables you to access your profile information, log out or switch sessions.
Main navigation (left) – modules
The vertical main navigation on the left contains the following modules, which represent the core functions of ARGUSintelligence:
- Monitoring: : the Monitoring module is the central inbox for all media content identified and collected by ARGUS Data Insights as part of your search query. Find articles, posts and other mentions from various sources that are relevant to you.
- Sendings: the Sendings module is used to manage the distribution of information to internal and external stakeholders. You can:
- create and send newsletters (in combination with the Engagement module): design and send newsletters to selected distribution lists;
- create and send press releases (in combination with the Engagement module): write and send press releases to your contacts;
- create and send media reviews (in combination with the Monitoring module): create customised media reviews for internal stakeholders based on the content collected in Monitoring.
- Analytics: the Analytics module provides you with deep insights into the data collected in Monitoring. Using detailed dashboards, you can analyse the performance of your media topics, identify trends and measure the reach of your communication. The interactive visualisations help you easily interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Engagement: the Engagement Module serves as a lightweight CRM system. It enables you to manage your contacts, track their interactions with your content and thus nurture relationships with key stakeholders. It supports you in targeted communication and network building.
Help Button
At the bottom of the main navigation is the Help button. This will take you to a landing page with further information and assistance.
Summary
In summary, the header bar and main navigation in ARGUSintelligence provide quick and easy access to all important functions and areas of the platform. You can return to the homepage at any time via the logo in the header bar, find content via the global search, manage your mailings via Events, adjust your settings in Settings and access your profile or log out via your initials. The main navigation on the left gives you access to the main modules: Monitoring, Sendings, Analytics and Engagement. The Help button at the bottom left takes you to further information. The main area below the header bar provides a quick overview of key metrics and data in the Monitoring Overview.
