What you can do with the Sendings module #
Your media monitoring gathers everything that’s being said about your brand, topics or industry — across news websites, print articles, broadcasts and social media.
The Sendings module (see Sendings module: main interface overview) helps you turn this media coverage into clear, targeted communication for internal or external audiences.
With just a few clicks, you can:
- select and share relevant articles as branded newsfeeds — including summaries, translations and custom intros;
- (coming soon) send custom communications & newsletters — such as press releases, company updates or event invitations;
- create templates and manage distribution lists — to ensure consistency and reach the right audience every time.
It’s your next step after monitoring: from collected coverage to communication that informs, engages and aligns with your strategy.

Your content options: create and share #
The module is designed to help you create, organise, schedule and deliver two main types of content:
1. Newsfeeds
Continuously updated, curated summaries of media monitoring results — with the option of adding custom introductions. Newsfeeds allow you to share the most relevant articles with your teams, management or other stakeholders in a clear and professional format. Each newsfeed can be automatically translated and branded, and is ideal for regular internal updates, such as daily digests or campaign-specific briefings.
Delivery via ARGUS Spot Reader App or email. Dive deeper into this section → Create a newsfeed
2. Custom communications & newsletters (Coming Soon)
A flexible format for creating and sending scheduled emails that go beyond media monitoring. This includes press releases, company statements, event invitations and general newsletters — all fully customisable and styled in your corporate identity. With this feature, you will be able to communicate important messages to internal teams, partners or media contacts in a targeted and polished way.
Delivery via email (planned). You will also be able to save time with templates and ensure reach by using predefined distribution lists – both of which need to be created in advance so they are available for selection when composing your messages.
Explore the interface & workflow #
The Sendings module is built to support your entire communication workflow — from content creation to management and performance tracking.
It is structured around two main control areas, each aligned with a specific stage of your workflow:
- Top action bar – for quickly launching new newsfeeds, templates and distribution lists.
- Left sidebar navigation – for planning, organising and tracking your communication content and resources.
Together, these areas give you full control over how you create, customise, distribute and monitor your sendings — all in one place.
2.1 Top action bar – initiate newsfeeds, templates and lists
At the top of the interface, the horizontal top action bar gives you quick access to content creation.

The Create New dropdown menu provides the following options:
- Create Newsfeed: build and send customised newsfeeds based on selected media coverage — including summaries, translations and predefined recipient groups. → Learn more: create a newsfeed
- Newsfeed Template: design and save branded layouts specifically for your media monitoring newsfeeds — with predefined fonts, colours and logo placement. These templates will later appear as selectable options when creating and sending a newsfeed, so it’s advisable to set them up in advance. → Learn more: design your newsfeed template
- Email Template: design reusable email layouts for general communications that are not based on media monitoring — such as press releases, event invitations or internal updates. These templates can later be selected when sending custom communications (feature coming soon), so it’s useful to prepare them in advance. → Learn more: design your email template
- Distribution Lists: create and manage recipient lists for all types of sendings — whether newsfeeds, newsletters or future custom communications. Lists can be built manually or imported from systems like Active Directory. Once created, they’ll appear as selectable options during the setup of any sending. → Learn more: set up and manage distribution lists
2.2 Left sidebar navigation – plan, manage and track communication
The vertical left sidebar navigation is your control centre for managing all existing communication content and assets. It mirrors your typical sending workflow — from planning to performance tracking
