This function allows you to associate a selected article with one or more existing newsfeeds. This is useful for distributing specific articles to relevant newsfeeds for further distribution or aggregation.
- Select an article:
- In the main article overview of the Monitoring module, select the article you wish to add to a newsfeed. (Typically by clicking on it to open its detail view or by selecting its checkbox if batch actions are supported for this feature).
- Initiate Add to Newsfeed:
- Click the “+ Add to Newsfeed” button located in the top navigation bar (header) of the Monitoring module.
- The Choose Newsfeed panel will open on the right, displaying a list of all your available newsfeeds (as shown in the screenshot provided).
- Select newsfeed(s):
- The panel presents your newsfeeds with a Quick Pick section for recently used or pinned newsfeeds and a Newsfeeds section listing all available options.
- Search function: use the search field at the top of the Choose Newsfeed panel to quickly find a specific newsfeed by name.
- Selection: click the desired newsfeed(s) in the list. A checkmark or highlight will indicate your selection. You can select multiple newsfeeds if the article should be assigned to more than one.
- Confirm selection:
- After you have selected all the relevant newsfeeds, click the Add button at the bottom of the right-hand panel.
- The selected article will now be associated with the chosen newsfeed(s). This action links the article to the newsfeed for distribution or further processing within the Sendings module.
Creating a new newsfeed directly #
Within the Choose Newsfeed panel, you also have the option of creating an entirely new newsfeed instead of selecting an existing one:
- Click the “+ Create New” button.
- You will be redirected to a new window or form where you can enter all the details for creating a new newsfeed (e.g. name, recipients, settings).
