The Add Content feature allows you to manually add articles or other content items directly into the ARGUSintelligence Monitoring module. This is useful for including content that may not have been automatically captured by your configured sources, such as physical print clippings, specific online articles or internal documents relevant to your monitoring.
The Add Content process
Adding content is a multi-step process guided by a stepper at the top of the Add Content panel: Add Content -> Additional Information -> Review and Finish.
Step 1: Add Content
This is the initial step where you provide the primary information and the main body of the content.

The following fields are presented:
- Content Type: a dropdown menu for selecting the type of content.
- Publishing Date: a date picker for setting the publication date.
- Media Outlet: a dropdown menu for selecting the media outlet.
- Subscription number: a text field, presumably for an internal reference number. The screenshot shows 04802 as an example entry.
- Title (Headline): a text field for the main title or headline of the content.
- Teaser: a text field for a short summary or teaser. A character count (e.g. 0/300) indicates a likely maximum length.
- Full Text: a larger text area for the main body of the content.
- Upload Image: a section allowing you to drag and drop an image file or click to browse and upload one.
- Upload .pdf: a section allowing you to drag and drop a PDF file or click to browse and upload one.
Navigation:
- At the bottom of this step, you will find a Next button to proceed to Additional Information and a Cancel button to abort the process. The Back button is disabled as this is the first step. (Note: The screenshots do not explicitly show which fields are mandatory to proceed.)
Step 2: Additional Information
This step allows you to add further metadata and details about the content. The subtitle “Please enter additional information or leave empty and skip this step” indicates that providing this information is optional.

The following fields are available:
- Total ADV: a field that is probably for entering the total Advertising Value Equivalency, shown in CHF. The screenshot shows “CHF 0.000”.
- Calculated ADV: a field that is probably for a system-calculated ADV, shown in CHF. The screenshot shows CHF 0.000.
- Edition: a text field (e.g. for print edition details).
- Reach: a text field (e.g. for audience reach figures).
- Country: a dropdown menu for selecting the country of origin/publication.
- Language: a dropdown menu for selecting the language of the content.
- Theme: a text field, possibly for thematic categorisation.
- Size in mm²: a text field, probably for the physical size of print articles.
- Author: a text field for the article’s author.
- Publication type: a dropdown menu for specifying the type of publication.
- Page: a text field for the page number.
- Frequency: a dropdown menu for the publication frequency (e.g. daily, weekly).
Navigation:
- At the bottom, Back takes you to the previous Add Content step, Next proceeds to Review and Finish and Cancel aborts the process.
Step 3: Review and Finish
This is expected to be the final step where you can:
- review all the information entered in Steps 1 and 2;
- potentially make final corrections (either directly or by navigating back);
- complete the process by clicking a final confirmation button (e.g. Finish, Save, or Add Content).

Outcome (general)
Once the process is completed, the new content item will be added to the ARGUSintelligence system and should become visible within the Monitoring module, allowing it to be managed alongside automatically captured content.
