# Filtering Options

To help you stay focused and navigate large amounts of data efficiently, the platform offers a robust and flexible filtering system. Accessible via the Filter button at the top of your view, this feature enables you to precisely tailor the content to your needs.

### 🧩 **Quick filter actions**

Clicking on the Filter dropdown menu reveals three key options:

- **Custom Filter**
Opens a detailed sidebar where you can apply multiple filter dimensions in combination. Perfect for narrowing down data according to very specific needs.
- **Clear Filter**
Instantly removes all applied filters and resets your view to the default state.
- **Manage Filters**
Redirects you to the **Settings **section, where you can manage your saved filters in detail (see below)

### **Custom Filter – precision filtering made simple**

By clicking **Custom Filter**, you open a powerful filtering panel that allows you to fine-tune your content selection. The available categories are grouped logically and cover all relevant metadata:

- ✅ **My Filters –**use your saved, reusable filter presets
- 📬 **Subscriptions –**filter based on subscribed content
- ⏱️ **Time Period –**limit results to a custom date range
- 🔍 **Search Topics / Keywords –**include or exclude certain topics
- 📑 **Status / Labels / Proofread –**operational filters for content tagging and verification
- 🌍 **Language / Country –**filter by content language or geographical origin
- 😊 **Sentiment –**segment based on tone (positive/neutral/negative)
- 📰 **Media Info –** narrow down by media name, channel or type
- ✍️ **Author –**filter by specific journalist or author
- 📊 **Reach –**filter based on media or post reach

Once you have made your selections, just hit **Apply **to instantly filter your view. You can also **Clear all, Cancel** or **fine-tune** your settings before applying.

### **Manage Filters – organise and optimise your presets**

Need more control over your filters? Click **Manage Filters** to enter the filter settings area. This is your command centre for everything related to saved filters:

- 🗂️ **View all saved filters –**easily browse and review your existing filters
- ✏️ **Edit filters –** modify names, conditions and visibility settings
- ➕ **Create new filters –** build reusable filters with full logic and conditions
- 🗑️ **Delete –** remove outdated or unused filters
- 📌 **Default filters –**set filters to load by default on specific views

This functionality is especially helpful for teams or users managing recurring workflows and needing consistency across reports or dashboards.
